4 Ingredient Hummus

A simple and delicious dip. This hummus has no added salt or oil so is super healthy and clean. It's perfect as a snack with chips, pita bread or fresh vegetable sticks. It's great for vegetarians as it's full of protein and iron but meat eaters love it as well.

Hummus with Fresh Vegetable Sticks

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0
Makes: 4 servings

1 can of salt reduced chickpeas
2 teaspoons or crushed garlic
1 tablespoon of tahini
1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Simple Ingredients.

Drain the chickpeas, keep a small amount of the liquid to help blend.

Add the lemon juice, garlic and tahini - blend.

All in the Blender.

If the mixture is too thick add some of the liquid from the chickpeas until the dip is smooth, alternatively use olive oil.

Taste and add more lemon or garlic as needed.

Blend Until Smooth.

Keeps in the fridge for 1 week.

I often make a double recipe and take this to parties. It's always the first to go and so many people ask me for this easy recipe.
