Almond Semolina Halwa

Almond Semolina Halwa is a delicious dessert. It is a healthy Indian delicacy and very easy to prepare.



Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 4-5 servings

Ingredients
1 cup Semolina (Suji)
15- 20 Almonds (Badam)
2 cup of boiled Milk
1 and 1/2 cup of Sugar
1tsp Cardamom Powder
5 tsp Ghee
7-8 Raisins
2 tsp grated Coconut


Method
Take a frying pan and roast the Semolina till it turns light brown in colour. If you get the roasted one, the no need to roast it again.



Roast Almonds for 2-3 minutes



Grind the roasted almond and mix it with the semolina



Now heat the frying pan and add 5 tsp of ghee and add the above mixture and stir it gently.
Now add sugar ( as per your taste) and pour milk in it.



Cook it over medium heat stirring continuously till the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture attains the consistency of the halwa.



Add cardamom powder and mix it well. Garnish it with raisins and grated coconut.

Halwa is now ready to serve 'hot'.
