I hate waste, even in small amounts. That's why after making my Apricot & Almond Cake I was reluctant to drain the drained liquid leftover. It's gorgeous amber colour looked so appealing, so I decided to have a sip. What I discovered was a divine juice. It has a mixture of flavours, and since cardamom is a member of the ginger family, the juice also has notes of warming ginger. The drink not only tastes great, but is very good for you too; apricots and cardamom are full of health benefits. Although the juice has a natural sweetness, it does not have lots of sugar like you get with smoothies and juice from concentrate because it does not contain the whole fruits, just the essence absorbed by the water.
