Asian Honey Soy Pork Fillet

Serving Suggestion


This recipe is Asian inspired. It is low in calories so is good for healthy eating.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20-30 minutes depending on thickness of fillets.
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
300g pork fillets
1 sweet potato
1 teaspoon Chinese five spice
1.5 teaspoons soy sauce
1.5 teaspoons of honey
Assorted vegetables to serve

Method
Pre-heat oven to 200 Celcius.



Serving Suggestion


Cut & slice the sweet potato.
Spray a tray with oil, place sweet potato on and then spray the slices with oil.
Place the tray in an oven and cook for 20 minutes.
Mix together the spice, soy sauce & honey.



Serving Suggestion


Brush the spice & sauce mixture over the pork fillet.
Preheat a frying pan and spray with oil.
Fry the pork until cooked through, turning occasionally and basting with the remainder of the mixture.



Serving Suggestion


When pork and sweet potatoes are cooked, place sweet potato on a plate, with the pork fillet on top.
Serve with mixed seasonal vegetables.
