Baked Avocado Fries

These avocado chips are inspired by grills latest chip addition but are baked instead of fried. They are hearty and moreish and fairly easy to make.



Sub the flour and milk for whatever you have on hand and enjoy dipping the firm yet ripe avocado into a tomato based sauce.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2

Ingredients
2 firm ripe Avocados
2/3 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
2/3 Cup Almond Milk
1 1/2 Cup Panko crumbs
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
1 tsp Coconut Oil

Method
Preheat your oven to 200, grease a lined baking sheet with coconut oil.

Slice the avocados into evenly sized strips and place in a bowl.
Sprinkle them with salt, pepper, flour and toss. *Dip each slice in almond milk then cover it in panko crumbs and place on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20-22 minutes, turning after ten.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool just for a minute before dividing into bowls and serving along side your favourite sauce.
