This is one of my favorite smoothies. Made from frozen bananas, based on plant milk, rich in protein and sweetened by dates, it is a wonderful refuel after intense sweaty training. It might also be one of breakfast options.
You can always change the topping, depending on season. This way, you will never get bored with this recipe.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients 2 frozen bananas, sliced
3 pitted dates
150 ml plant milk (or more if you want your smoothie to by more runny)
1 tsp spirulina powder
2 scoops whey protein concentrate
berries, fruits, nuts and seeds to garnish
Blend all ingredients. Top with berries, sliced fruits, nuts and seeds
