Banana (163)      Caramel (53)      Banoffee (1)

When I went shopping the other day, there were a whole bunch of bananas at a really low discount price, so I ended up buying loads. I decided to make up this little afternoon snack for the family. It is super easy to make, with only three ingredients, so it perfect to make with the kids. My mum described them as a cross between a chewy biscuit and a scotch pancake. She had intended to have one with her cup of tea, but before the kettle had boiled, she had already gobbled up three of them. Based on the brands I used, each piece is about 91 calories.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes
Makes: 10 servings

Ingredients

2 bananas
100g Carnation Caramel
100g plain flour

Method
Pre-heat the oven to 200 ༠C/ 180 ༠C fan/375 ༠F/5 Gas.

Slice, then mash the bananas.

Stir in the caramel.

Fold in the flour.

Spread the batter on a non-stick baking tray in a rectangular shape.

Bake in the oven.

Slice into ten.

I've never tried, so I couldn't honestly say. I don't see why it should not work though. You can but have a go. A nut flour with banana should taste nice. As for a drop cookie, the only real difference would be the shape.
Do you think this would work as little drop cookies too?
Sounds yum. What about for Gluten frees? Could you use almond or hazelnut meal instead of flour??? Do you think they'd still work??? c&c
