Delicious salad, full of strong flavours and different textures. Ideal for BBQs or as a light lunch.

Ingredients
Salad
1/2 loaf french bread
125g blue cheese, crubmled
2 large pears, halved, cored and thinly sliced
1 lettuce or baby spinach
1 cup roasted pecan nuts
Dressing
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Sea salt & freshly ground pepper
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Tear french bread into small pieces. Bake until crisp and golden. Approximately 5-7 minutes.
Place the lettuce in a large bowl. Add pears, cheese, bread and nuts and toss well.
Prepare dressing by whisking the oil and lemon juice in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper
Drizzle the dressing over the salad
