Breezy Chicken Fettuccine

It really is no wonder that chicken is so popular, it is fast to cook, high in protein and tastes great. Combined with pasta, you're sure to love this too.

This recipe uses a special technique (which I'm sure I just invented, but maybe not) of adding a little bit of cheese to the chicken right at the end of cooking to brown and add a wonderful cheesy flavour to the chicken without using a great deal of cheese. Doing this I didn't need to top with cheese afterward as the cheesy flavour went through the pasta too.

Breezy Chicken Fettuccine - cook like a chef in your own kitchen!

Try it for yourself!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

400g fettuccine
400g chicken
1/2 carrot, sliced
1/2 bunch spinach, chopped
1/2 zucchini, sliced
100g yellow cheese of choice
100g cream
50g butter
Salt and pepper to season

Prepare by cutting the carrot and zucchini into small pieces, slicing the chicken and chopping the spinach.

Set chicken cooking in a little olive oil, then add carrot and zucchini and stir frequently until cooked.

Put the fettuccine and chopped up spinach on to boil

Pasta and spinach

Drain once cooked and add butter to let it melt.


Mix in butter, then add cream and stir. This recipe uses only 100g of cream for 4 people and an easy technique that tastes great.

Once chicken is cooked through, chop up cheese and stir into chicken while still on the heat. This will give the chicken a golden glow and impart a beautiful cheesy flavour.

Put the chcken and vegetable mixture in with the pasta and stir.

Golden brown cheesy chicken

Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
