Brownie Cookies

Brownies and cookies are combined to create a new favourite dessert and treat! How can anyone go by two sweet classics merged into one?

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 12 servings

350g dark chocolate, chopped
40g butter
2 eggs
2/3 cup caster sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup plain flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat the oven to 180 C. Grease some baking trays, then line the trays with baking paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, and vanilla.

Add the flour and baking powder and stir until combined.

In a saucepan over medium, melt the butter and half of the chocolate together. Stir until smooth.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, then stir to combine.

Fold in the remaining chopped chocolate.

Spoon tablespoonfuls of batter onto the baking paper, leaving 3-4 centimeters between each to allow for spreading.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges become crispy.

Allow the cookies to cool on their trays.
