Cold and filling smoothies are the perfect go to meal on a hot day. Fill them with fruit and vegetables instead of icecream and syrups and you have a nutritious breakfast or lunch at your fingertips.
I am a carrot advocate, raw, cooked, juiced, baked in cakes and now blended into a smoothie. This was the first time I made this recipe and it is now my new favourite smoothie. It has all the flavours of carrot cake blitzed into a wonderfully chunky smoothie.
