Who needs cheese on toast when you've got cheese inside? This utterly indulgent loaf lured my family into the kitchen while it was cooking, and the aroma lingered through the house for hours to come, making it ever the more tempting.

Easter Cheese Bread?
Preparation Time: 2 hours
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Makes: 1 large loaf
Ingredients
5 eggs
4tsp Truvia sweetener (or 120g caster sugar)
500g white bread flour
½ tsp salt
7g fast action yeast
250g margarine
100g Parmesan
60g Patrick Fell's sheep cheese
60g Comte cheese
150g lardons
Method
Grate the cheese (leave one tablespoon parmesan to the side) and mix with the flour and yeast.
Fry the lardons, and then pat them down with a paper towel before adding to the mixture.
Beat four eggs with the sweetener/sugar and salt, then stir into the mixture to form a sticky dough.
Knead the dough for ten minutes, and then prove for about an hour.
Pre-heat oven to 200 ༠C/ 180 ༠C fan/375 ༠F/5 Gas.
Beat one egg with a fork, and glaze the dough before scoring the top.
Sprinkle one tablespoon parmesan over the top.
