Ingredients 1 1/3 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup raw sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
125g white or milk chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line cookie tray with baking paper or aluminium foil and butter the sheet.
Mix the plain flour, bi-carb of soda and salt
Beat the butter and raw sugar in a large bowl using electric mixer until creamy. Add vanila and egg and beat until just mixed in
Mix the dry ingredients, chocolate and walnuts
Create small balls from the dough - the size of walnuts and place them 5cm apart on the baking tray
Bake until golden - approximately 10-12 minutes. Cool on the tray until the cookies firm slightly.
