1 X 250g packet of Marie biscuits.
1/2 cup of coconut
1/3 cup of cocoa
1 X 395g can of condensed milk
Extra coconut (approximately 1/4 cup)
Crush the Marie biscuits until they crumb (I prefer to do this by crushing 3-4 Maries at a time in an electric blender. However, you can also put all the maries into a plastic bag and roll a rolling pin viciously over the top of them until they crumble).
Tip all of the dry ingredients (except for the extra coconut) into a bowl and lightly mix to combine. Add the condensed milk.
With your hands mix all of the ingredients together until they're fully combined (don't forget the crumbly annoying pieces at the bottom of the bowl).
Roll the mixture into ball sizes of your choosing, keeping in mind that the serving size of this recipe will significantly decrease, or increase, if you’re chocolate balls are overly large, or small.
Coat each of the balls all over with the extra coconut.
The finished chocolate balls can be eaten straight away or refrigerated until needed; personally I think that they’re tastiest if cooled for at least 15mins before serving.
