This is such a fun and simple recipe that tastes delicious and looks really impressive to guests. It can sometimes get a bit frustrating trying to hollow out all the strawberries, however if you don't wish to waste time doing that, thinly slice up the strawberries and use the nutella mixture as a dip.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Makes: about 24 servings
Ingredients 2 punnets of strawberries
3/4 cup nutella
1/2 cup cream cheese (room temperature)
3/4 cup icing sugar, sifted
Slice the top off the strawberries and use a knife or a spoon to scoop out the inside of the strawberry. You will be left with a hollow centre.
Mix together the nutella, cream cheese and icing sugar in a bowl.
Spoon the mixture into a zip lock bag. With scissors, cut off one corner of the bag.
Squeeze the nutella mixture out of the cut corner of the zip lock bag into the hollowed centre of each strawberry.
Refrigerate strawberries to harden or serve immediately.
