Ingredients FOR THE FILLING
230 gm cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup chocolate chips
FOR THE CUPCAKES
1 1/3 cup plain flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Line a muffin pan with cupcake liner.
Prepare the filling by beating cream cheese, egg, and sugar in a bowl, until fluffy.
Add chocolate chips and mix. Keep it aside.
Prepare cupcake mixture by whisking flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl.
Add water, vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar and vanilla essence.
Stir everything together until everything is incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared muffin cups.
Fill about 1/3 of each cupcake liner.
Add a teaspoon full of cream cheese filling on top of the batter.
Bake at 180 degree C until the cream cheese filling appears set and when you insert toothpick in cupcakes it comes out clean.
