These chocolate biscuits are to die for, they taste so much like a chocolate brownie. Super easy to make too!
They're great as they are, but if you want a richer biscuit, add in some chocolate chips or peanut butter chips for a bit more decadence.

Chocolate crinkle biscuits come out perfect every time!
Preparation Time: 90 minutes (including refrigeration)
Cooking Time: 8 minutes
Makes: 2 and a half to 3 dozen
Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
If using self-raising flour, omit salt and baking soda
Method
Preheat your oven to 180C.
Cream together butter and brown sugar with a mixer until fluffy, about 5 minutes.
Add in eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition, and then vanilla.
Combine cocoa powder, flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture. Mix well as you go.
Put the dough into the fridge for an hour (or a bit longer, but not more than 4 hours).
Spoon out small portions and in the palm of your hand, roll into a ball.
Place dough on a parchment lined baking sheet, space cookies 5cm (2 inches) apart. Bake for 9-10 minutes. If your oven in fan-forced, bake for 8 mins.
When biscuits come out of the oven, use your spatula to gently and lightly press them a little bit flatter.
Let biscuits cool for 10 minutes.Should stay soft and chewy. Can be stored in an airtight container.

Once combined, mixture will be like a thicker cake batter. Pop it into the fridge for about an hour (or longer) before rolling into balls and placing on a baking sheet.
