Ingredients 3/4 cup White Sugar
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
2 teaspoons Vanilla Essence
3/4 cup Plain Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
3 tablespoons Smooth Peanut Butter ( or Crunchy if you prefer)
Grease and line a 28x18 cm slice pan with baking paper.
Preheat oven to 175°C (I have a fan-forced oven so I set it to 155°C).
Combine the sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla in a bowl.
Electric mix for about 3 minutes or until mixture is light and fluffy.
With a metal spoon, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa into the egg mixture.
Electric beat the peanut butter just enough to combine with egg mixture.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared slice tin and bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until a skewer can be inserted and when removed be clean.
Allow to cool for about 10 minutes then cut into slices.
