Reese's Pieces are an American candy enjoyed by chocolate and peanut butter lovers world wide. In Australia they are quite expensive and unhealthy. But this recipe is a very easy and clean recipe inspired by the delicious Reese's Pieces.
Ingredients 1/4 cup coconut oil
2/3 cup cacao powder
4 tbsp agave
4 tbsp peanut butter
Combine to coconut oil, cacao and agave in a pot over a low heat.
Stir until melted, once melted put 1 tsp (depending on mold size) into each section. Place 1/2 tsp of peanut butter in the middle of the chocolate. Top with another teaspoon of melted chocolate.
Leave in the fridge to set for 30 minutes or 10 minutes in the freezer.
Enjoy your healthy Reese's Pieces inspired chocolate!
NOTE: If you don't like dark chocolate add a drop of cream to the recipe.
I used natural peanut butter but have previously used lightly salted which also works well. Alternatively try almond or walnut butter.
