It's winter and indulging in comfort food is very hard to resist. So I stopped resisting and went all in to make this super rich and creamy salted caramel sauce to go with my ice-cream. Or if you are not up for an ice-cream, add a teaspoon of this sauce to your hot chocolate for a salted caramel chocolate drink. I have adapted this recipe from Donna Hay's salted caramel sauce recipe. Although I have never made caramel sauce before, it turned out pretty good.
