Crispy Crunchy Kale Chips

Having trouble getting your daily intake of veggies? Make sure to try these highly nutritious and delicious kale chips. They're a healthier alternative to popcorn that's sure to please everyone in the family.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients


Ingredients
5-6 kale leaves, thoroughly washed and dried
1 tablespoon oil (olive, grapeseed, flaxseed etc)
1 teaspoon sea salt

Method
Preheat oven to 170 degrees celcius.
Tear leaves from kale stems into 3cm pieces.
Place leaves into a large bowl. Add olive oil and mix thoroughly until all the leaves are lightly coated by the oil.
On a lined baking tray, scatter the kale leaves before sprinkling sea salt on top of all of the leaves.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the kale chips begin to brown slightly.
Enjoy immediately!

Tossing leaves in olive oil to gently coat

Ready to be baked in the oven

Crispy and cooked
