Crockpot Cottage Cheese Casserole

Cheesy with a little vegetable and pasta. A wonderful comfort dish and the crockpot does all of the work.



Cottage Cheese Casserole


Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 4 hours
Makes: 6 servings

Ingredients
1/2 cup mushrooms
1/2 cup onion
3/4 cup tomato paste
4 cups cooked macaroni
1 1/4 cup water
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Method
Combine mushrooms, onions, tomato paste, macaroni, water, salt and sugar.



Cottage Cheese Casserole


Place half of macaroni mixture in crockpot.
Top with one cup cottage cheese and half of parmesan cheese.

Repeat layers.
Cover. Cook on LOW 4 hours.
