You will see many variations of the old, four bean, three bean or five bean salad and lots of different types of dressing. This one does not have sugar, and is so simple to make, children will enjoy putting it together.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2 large servings or 4 side serves.
Ingredients Can of five bean mix
1 stick of celery diced
1/2 a red onion diced
4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon rice syrup or honey
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Method 1. Whisk together the vinegar, olive oil and rice syrup or honey.
2. Open tin of beans and rinse, and then add to a bowl
3. Add diced onion and celery
4. Add salt and pepper to taste
5. Mix through
6. Put it in the fridge to cool especially on a warm day, serve chilled.
