Ingredients Pasta (I used fettucine, but you can use any type of pasta you like)
5 Slices shortcut Bacon (cut into strips)
300g Mushroom (sliced)
1 Large Onion (diced)
3-4 cloves of Garlic (minced)
1 egg yolk
Cook pasta per instructions on packet.
While the pasta is cooking prepare the bacon, mushroom, onion and garlic.
Once pasta is cooked, drain and set aside
In a hot wok or pan, heat oil, add in onion and garlic.
Add in bacon and stirfry
Then add in the mushrooms and stirfry
When mushrooms are half cooked, add in the drained pasta and mix through
Season with salt and pepper, then mix
Pour in enough cream to cover pasta and mix through
Add more salt and pepper if required
Turn off heat and add the egg yolk into the pasta and quickly mix through to avoid clumping.
Dish up and serve immediately! You may sprinkle some cheese on top of you like!
