This is an amazing concoction of cold and hot and can be made all year round as the summer fruits are all frozen. You can buy them ready frozen, or you can freeze your own in season. An added bonus is the low calorie content.
Ingredients 200g mixed frozen berries and currants: a selection of all or some of raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants and blueberries
30g white chocolate
30ml double cream
2tbsp Cointreau (optional)
Remove the frozen berries from the freezer, arrange on dessert plates and keep frozen until they are needed.
Break the white chocolate into a bowl.
Add the cream.
Melt gently over a pan of simmering water, stirring until the chocolate has melted and the sauce is smooth.
Add the Cointreau, if using.
Take the plates of berries out of the freezer, drizzle with the warm white chocolate sauce and serve immediately.
