Garlic and Cheese Beer Bread

This delightful bread is ready in under an hour and is a perfect accompaniment to a lovely winter soup. Alternatively eat it fresh from the oven with lashings of good quality butter.


Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Serves: 5-6

Ingredients
3 cups of plain flour
1 cup of shredded tasty cheese
3 tablespoons of caster sugar
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 375ml bottle of beer
Coconut or olive oil spray

Method
Preheat oven to 180 fan forced and lightly grease a loaf pan with oil spray.
In a medium bowl mix together flour, sugar, garlic powder, salt and baking powder.
Add cheese and mix again.
Create a hole in the middle of your mix.
Pour beer into centre and mix with a wooden spoon.

Place into prepared loaf pan.

Bake for approx 40minutes until a toothpick pulls out cleanly.

Perfect to serve with : Chilli Cauliflower Soup
