Garlic Oyster Sauce Mushrooms & Vegetables

This recipe makes a vibrant healthy stir-fried vegetable dish of mixed mushroom and Chinese broccoli in garlic & oyster sauce. It is a simple quick dish for yummy lunch or dinner.



Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
1 bunch Chinese broccoli, trimmed and cut into 6cm lengths
1 red capsicum, deseeded and cut into thin strips
400g king oyster mushrooms, thinly sliced
200g fresh shiitake mushrooms, quartered
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 fresh red chillies, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
White pepper powder
Steamed jasmine rice, to serve

Method
Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan. *Add in the minced garlic and chillies, saute until fragrant.



Add in the capsicum and fry for 2 minutes.



Add in the Chinese broccoli and fry for 1 minute.



Add in the mushrooms and fry for 2 minutes.



Add in the soy sauce, oyster sauce and white pepper powder. Toss to combine.



Pour in 1/2 cup of water and bring to the boil.



Serve with steamed white rice or noodles.
