Ginger Sesame Salmon

I lightened the original photo a little.

Here is a delicious recipe for salmon that is both fast and easy. Dinner in about 20 minutes!


Preparation Time: 3 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
450 g fresh salmon, skin on
2 tbs sesame oil
1 tsp soy Sauce
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
1 large clove of garlic through press
1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger root
3 tsp melted butter
3 lemon wedges
2 green onions, chopped

Method
Combine sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, sesame seeds, pressed garlic, grated ginger, and the juice of one lemon wedge in pan. Mix together.

Place salmon, skin side UP in pan.


Completed Ginger Sesame Salmon Recipe

Cook salmon, uncovered on medium high heat until browned slightly.

Cover, turn heat to low, cook for an additional 15 minutes.

Flip salmon over with spatula, cover with melted butter, additional lemon juice and garnish with green onions.

Thanks Polly, it was lovely! I got to make it on the 8/1/17 I couldn't buy the salmon from my usual fish shop, so I had to buy a packet of it from Aldi's!

We've always only bought the salmon cutlets, but last night my husband asked me to buy the salmon fillets next time, so then I'll be able to make this lovely looking easy to make recipe!

I love this recipe and make it at least twice a month. It is a family favorite. I came up with this recipe about eight years ago.
