GMV's Tuna & Cauliflower Macaroni Casserole Bake

This delicious mouth-watering tuna pasta bake is a quick and easy way to satisfy the whole family. I have 'secretly embedded' some healthy cauliflower with the goodness of tuna.



Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 6 servings



Ingredients
200g macaroni pasta
100g cooked cauliflower florets
2 cans of tuna in olive oil
50g leg ham
100g baby pea
250g white sauce
100g aged cheddar cheese
10g Italian grana padano cheese
10g fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to season

Method
Preheat oven to 180C.
Cook the macaroni to packet directions and drain.
Slightly brown the leg ham over low medium heat.
Mix the tuna with the macaroni pasta. Drizzle the olive oil from the tuna cans on top of the pasta over low medium heat.



Add in the baby pea, leg ham and the cauliflower florets.
Taste and season with salt and pepper.



Add in the white sauce and toss to combine well.



Place the macaroni in an oven-proof casserole dish.
I added a cauliflower bake on the other side of the casserole dish.



Top with aged cheddar cheese slices.



Bake for 25 minutes or until golden.



Serve with shaved Italian grana padano cheese and fresh parsley.



This is just an awesome, budget friendly main meal that is very easy to prepare.
