Gooey Chocolate Brownie

For me, nothing beats a gooey, warm chocolate brownie, and this super easy recipe produces just that. It's a no fuss, no fail recipe for a lovely treat.

I've made them for many occasions and always received lots of compliments about them.

Fantastic served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes
Makes: 16 servings

170g butter
320g caster sugar
100g plain flour
70g cocoa powder
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 180C, 160C for fan ovens and line a baking tin with grease proof paper.
Melt the butter over a low heat.
Beat the sugar and egg until fully blended.

Fold in the flour, cocoa, baking powder and vanilla essence.

Add in the butter and mix until you have a rich, velvety texture.

Pour the mixture into your baking tin and cook for 20-24 minutes until the top is springy to the touch.

Looks really good, but I am afraid the recipe is confusing to me. I usually do not, nor do I know how to measure stuff in grams, at least I am assuming that is what the g means.
