Ingredients 500g chicken mince
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoons lemon rind
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 cup breadcrumbs
12 slices of bread
4 Tablespoons mayonnaise, such as SW Mayo
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
6 Slices of cheese – Emmental or Edam
Place chicken mince in a mixing bowl. Add the onion, lemon rind, sour cream and breadcrumbs
Using your hands, mix thoroughly until all ingredients are combined. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into 1.5cm thick patties
Heat the oil in a frying pan or preheat a barbecue grill to high and lightly oil
Cook the patties for approximately 7 minutes each side, turning only once.
Mix Mayonnaise with Dijon mustard
Assemble burger by placing lettuce, cheese and patty on bread. Spread with mustard.
