Ingredients 1 raw green mango
1/2 of medium size onion
1 tsp ginger (finely chopped)
3 green chilli
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/3 to 1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1 tbsp coconut oil
Salt to taste
Slice the mango to small pieces. Chop the onion and cut the chilli lengthwise.
Take water in a saucepan. Add the sliced mango, onion, ginger, chilli, curry leaves, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and cook until the mango is soft.
Remove from heat and let it cool a little. Then add the coconut milk and mix well. Again cook on a very low flame. When it starts to boil, remove from heat.
Heat oil in a pan. Crackle the mustard seeds. Add the chopped shallots and saute until golden brown. Then add the curry leaves and remove from heat.
Add it to the curry and mix well.
The green mango curry is ready. Serve hot with rice. Enjoy.
