Grilled Spicy Asian BBQ Chicken Wrap with Kale Chips

These chicken wings are marinated in tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and cayenne pepper. They are finger-licking delicious as a wrap filling.

The spicy Asian chicken wrap is combined with cooling cucumber, crispy kale chips and vintage cheddar cheese. The wrap tastes delicious and healthy at the same time. It is best served warm.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

8 marinated chicken wings
4 vintage cheddar cheese
4 wholegrain wraps
2 fresh cucumber
1 kale bunch or
250g kale chips
2 tablespoon of spicy Asian sauce
1/2 teaspoon of salt


Preheat the oven to 200C.
Line the marinated chicken wings on a baking tray.

Grill the chicken wings until golden and caramelized.

Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Add some Asian spicy sauce on top and garnish with sesame seeds.

Break the kale leaves into bite-size and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake the kale in the oven for 5 minutes or until crisp.
Season with salt.
Place the kale chips on the wraps.

Follow by fresh cucumber slices.

Add the vintage cheddar cheese.

Top with the Spicy Asian BBQ chicken.

Wrap tightly and place it under a pre-heated grill.

Cut in half and serve immediately.

This is a great snack wrap that can be prepared in advance and assembled at the last minute. A perfect lunch idea!
