When I feel like something sweet, bananas are my go to food. I can't always be naughty and have a brownie in a mug or microwave pudding. They are really quick to make but so is this. It's sweet and it's healthy. It's great to beat those sweet tooth cravings.
Ingredients 1 packet of 6 organic rye, oat and linseed wraps ( or alternatively any wraps you like. Just not the spinach ones)
Ripe bananas (1 per wrap)
Organic raw honey (1 teaspoon per wrap)
Start by turning on your sandwich grill or if you don't have one a good non stick fry pan.
Slice banana and place on a wrap in the middle .
Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle over honey.
Sliced bananas on a wrap. Who would of thought
Fold up your wrap starting by folding in the bottom and then the sides.
For a sandwich press place on the press and hold down the top with a knife as you close the lid so it stays folded. Cook for 2-3 minutes until wrap is golden brown on the outside.
For a fry pan, leave it dry and place the wrap in and sit a small plate or bowl on top of the wrap for one minute, slowly take off the plate and use a knife to hold it as you turn it over gently. Cook for about another minute or two and it's ready.
Bananas are soft in the middle and really warm which is how I like them. For my sandwich press the bananas near the top are still a bit uncooked, which is fine but if you want them cooked all the way through toy can pre cook slices in a dry non stick fry pan for about 20 seconds each side to help them cook.
