Healthy Cookie Dough

As a child I used to love eating cookie dough before it was baked into cookies. As an adult I realise that this is 1 not very healthy and 2 comes with the very real risk of salmonella poisoning. Luckily after scouring the internet I have found a recipe that is not only egg free and meant to be eaten raw. But is quite healthy as well.



This dough looks and has the right texture of the childhood memory. But is better for you in every way.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 1-4 servings

Ingredients
1 can or chickpeas
cup peanut butter
2 tbsp. agave
1 tsp. vanilla extract
cup dark chocolate chips or chopped up dark chocolate bar

Method
Drain the can of chickpeas and rinse well. This will get any savory taste off and stop any potential *ehrm* digestive issues.
Place in a blender and pulse. Spoon in the peanut butter, agave and vanilla and blend until smooth.

Pour the dough into a bowl and fold in chocolate chips.

Eat straight from the bowl for nostalgic memories, roll into small bite sized pieces or serve in sweet little jars and enjoy with friends.



Adjust agave to taste.
Store in the fridge.
