Herb and Curry Beef Rissoles

Yummy rissoles, full of fresh herbs and vegetables, with a curry punch.



Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 11 burgers

Ingredients
350 grams beef mince
1 medium onion, grated
1 medium carrot, grated
1/2 cup cucumber or zucchini, grated
1 heaped tsp of curry powder
1 egg (this binds the mixture together)
2/3 cup fresh bread crumbs (this will take some moisture out of the mixture), plus extra for coating
1 handful of fresh herbs, approximately 1/4 cup (I used parsley, oregano, thyme, lemon thyme, rosemary and chives).
1 clove of garlic, crushed/ 1 tsp crushed garlic
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
1 tbsp barbecue sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp dried mixed herbs



Method
Place all ingredients in a bowl.

Mix together well, if the mixture is still to moist add more bread crumbs.



Roll into balls, this should make around 10-11 rissoles.
Roll balls in bread crumbs.



Heat a barbecue plate or frying pan.

Place rissoles on plate and flatten with a egg flip.



Cook until each side is golden brown.



Serve with a yummy salad or in some bread as a burger.
