Ingredients 1/4 Cucumber
1/2 a full Honeydew
1/2 Cup of Pear Juice (from a tin of pears is also okay)
1 tsp Lime Juice (bottled or freshly squeezed is fine)
1/8 Cup of Mint Leaves
Getting rid of the honeydew seeds prior to cutting
Chopping up the honeydew
Scoop into the honeydew slice in order to remove the seeds. After doing the latter, chop the honeydew piece down into quarters remembering to chop off the skin, and place each piece immediately into the blender.
Finely chop the cucumber into circular pieces, and removing any edges (as pictured). Then place these pieces into the blender.
Chop the stalks off the mint leaves and place into the blender.
Pour the lime juice into the blender. Note: the juice will sink down to the bottom of the blender.
Apply the lime juice with the relevant teaspoon into the blender. Alternatively if you’re using a squeeze bottle, directly squeeze juice into the blender and stop after counting to five.
Ensuring that the blender is switched on at the mains, blend the mixture on medium range for 40 seconds and turn off the blender. With a spoon, push the unblended mint leaves and cucumber down towards the bottom, re-apply the lid once done and turn the blender back on again for 60 seconds on medium range.
