Hummus With Spicy Paprika
Hummus With Spicy Paprika is a great dip to serve on platters with crackers and vegetable sticks

This Hummus With Spicy Paprika is easy to make and is a tasty dip to serve with crackers on platters. It can also be used as a sandwich spread.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 6 hours
Serves: 1

400g can chickpeas, drained
2 tbsp tahini
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 lemon, juiced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp spicy paprika
1/8 tsp chilli

Add chickpeas, garlic, tahini, salt and lemon juice into a blender and blend until smooth.
Add 1 tbsp of olive oil and blend.

Hummus With Spicy Paprika
Use a hand or electric blender to combine the ingredients

Add spicy paprika, chilli and remaining olive oil and blend until combined.
Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight for best result.
Serve with crackers.

Hummus With Spicy Paprika
Blend until the hummus is smooth

While the hummus can be served immediately the flavours intensify if refrigerated overnight.
Double the ingredients and use the extra hummus as a healthy sandwich spread.
