Massaman Curry Puffs

A perfect snack. Any leftovers can be frozen and served to unexpected guest.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 24

Ingredients
- 3 sheets of puff pastry
- 250 grams of mince beef
- 3 medium sized potatoes
- 4 tablespoon of massaman paste
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoonof salt

Method

Peel and cut potatoes into approximately 3x3 cm cubes, boil the potatoes in a large pot on high heat until they are cooked and soft all the way through.

Drain the potatoes and set them aside.

Set fry pan on a medium heat. Fry off massaman paste until aromatic.

Add beef, salt and sugar in and fry off until the beef mince is cooked.

Add in potatoes, mash potatoes and mince mixture together.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line baking tray with baking paper.

Cut each pastry into 4 squares, then each square into 2 triangles.

Fold pastry into half and crimp one side with a folk (this makes it easier later on).

Fill the opening side of the pastry with the mixture. Crimp the remaining side with a fork.

Repeat until all the filling and mixture is used up.

Place pastry onto the tray and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with sweet chilli sauce.

Notes
For extra spice add a dash of cayenne pepper to the meat mixture.
