Add the mixed vegetable, cheese, a tablespoon of cooking oil and sprinkle some garlic powder, basil, cayenne pepper. Mix well.
On the thawed pastry sheet (I’m using half a sheet), place generous amount of mixed sausage as shown on the picture. Remember to leave at least 1cm of space at both ends because it will expand when you bake them later.
Roll pastry sheet inwards to cover the sausage mix. (Like how you roll sushi)
After rolling, put some water at the end to stick them together.
Using a sharp clean knife, cut it into 4 small rolls. Do a clean cut in the middle first, then move on to cut them into 2 little ones.
Apply egg wash and sprinkle black pepper or cayenne pepper on top.
Bake them for 30 minutes or until the skin turns golden brown. (Poke it with a toothpick to check if they’re done)
