Moist Banana Cake

This is a great way to use up bananas that are going brown. It was fun making this moist and spongy cake.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 30-45 minutes
Makes: Approximately 20 slices

Ingredients
4 ripe bananas
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp vanilla yoghurt

Method
Mash the bananas with a fork.



Cream the butter and sugar together, and then add the eggs.



Sift and weigh out the flour and mix into the cake batter.
Alongside, add the milk and the vanilla yoghurt.



Fold in the banana, and pour the batter into a greased cake tin.
Sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the batter.



Bake in the oven at 180 C for 30-45 minutes, or until golden.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes, and cut into pieces

I think I used a tin that was 15 cm by 25 cm (roughly)
I think the tin was 15cm by 25cm
What size tin do u use
I like the idea of putting brown sugar on top. I'll have to give it a go.
