Mouth Wateringly Creamy Mashed Potatoes

This secret recipe takes an old favorite to the next level.



Mashed potatoes


Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
4 large potatoes
50g butter
1 tablespoon cream
2 tablespoons milk

Method
Peel and cut potatoes roughly into 2-3cm chunks.

Put potatoes into boiling water and simmer for 15 minutes or until soft.

Drain water.

Whilst potatoes are still hot, stir in 50g of butter and mash in until butter is fully incorporated.

Once butter is mixed in, add cream and mash in.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of milk until desired consistency is achieved.

Do not whip, use a masher. The secret to perfect mashed potatoes is in mashing in butter, cream and milk in that order.
