Ingredients 1 part Gin
1 part Vermouth
1 part Campari
1 Orange Twist
Put quite a few cubes of ice, or one LARGE cube, in a tumbler and pour over the gin, vermouth and campari.
Stir the cocktail down with a swizzle stick for a minute or two to cool the whole drink.
Garnish with an orange twist or slice.
To make an orange twist peel or cut off a length of orange peel, cut away the pith and neaten the sides. Twist the orange tightly around the swizzle stick and hold for a few seconds. Remove and you will have a curl.
Use whichever gin or vermouth you prefer but the campari cant be substituted.
The orange twist is crucial, the citrus oil adds balance to the drink.
If this drink is too strong top with soda water.
