This mash has spices of India with rich butter and wholesome root vegetables, the perfect side dish.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 4 sides
Ingredients
1 Sweet potato
3 Carrots
1 TBSP Butter
1 TBSP Mustard seeds
1/2 TSP Cinnamon
1/2 TSP Garam masala
1/4 TSP Turmeric
Method
Peal and chop the vegetables and put into a pot, fill with water and boil.
Once the vegetables are soft drain and add the butter, cinnamon, garam masala and turmeric.
Remove from the heat allow to cool slightly and blend with a Bamix.
Return to the heat, mix in the mustard seeds and taste. Season with salt and add more butter if needed.
Serve as a side dish with protein, I opted for white fish and greens.

Fragrant and sweet.
