This recipe is the vegetarian version of Butter Chicken.
With literally no effort, you can wrap up this creamy dish in no time, specially when you have uninvited guests at your house.

Preparation Time: 5-10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 6-8 servings

Ingredients

400 g cottage cheese

cottage cheese

2 onions
3 large tomatoes
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp tomato sauce
3 tbsp natural yogurt
2 tbsp cream
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup tomato ketchup
3 tbsp butter chicken spice ( can be obtained in most Indian supermarket)
Salt

Method

Cut the cottage cheese in cubes and deep fry them in hot oil for a few minutes. Be careful not to let them get stuck at the bottom of the pan. Take them out when done and leave to drain on kitchen paper.

Fried paneer

Blend the onions, tomatoes, tomato ketchup and ginger/garlic paste together to form a smooth paste.

Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a saucepan and pour in the tomato paste. Add the spice and leave to simmer for a few minutes while stirring. When the sauce starts to leave the sides of the pan, quickly pour in the yogurt and cream and leave to cook for a few more minutes.

Next, add the fried paneer, butter and the salt. Give it a quick stir and take off the heat.
