Homemade crackers add something extra special to your cheese boards and dips. They are so easy to make and to prepare in advance for parties and gatherings. Add your own combination of herbs and spices to suit your taste.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes plus resting time
Cooking Time: 10 - 15 minutes
Serves: makes 25 - 30
Ingredients 110 grams butter
80 g freshly grated parmesan
1 1/4 cups plain flour
1 tablespoon chopped rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
In a large bowl, beat the butter until it's smooth and creamy.
Add the remaining ingredients and continue to beat until combined.
Remove from the bowl and work the mixture into a soft dough.
Roll the dough into a log shape and wrap in cling wrap.
Refrigerate for at least 40 minutes until firm.
Cut into 3 mm rounds and place onto baking trays lined with non - stick paper.
Bake in an oven preheated to 170 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes until lightly golden.
