Plain Roti

An easy side for any curry.



Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 10

Ingredients
2cups flour
1cup milk
3Tbs oil

Method
In a bowl, combine flour, milk and two tablespoons of the oil.

Mix together then kneed to form a dough.

Coat with the extra 1 tablespoon of oil and set aside of 30 minutes.

Break off into ten balls. Individually cover them in flour and roll out flat with a rolling pin.

Heat a non-stick frying pan and insert dough.



Cook for 15 seconds then flip and cook for a further 30 seconds.

Remove fry pan and place roti directly on the flame. It will puff up. Leave on flame for 10 seconds only then place on a plate.

Repeat until all roti are cooked.



Serve with your favourite curry.
