Prawn Cocktail

The perfect seafood entree for christmas or any occasion. This recipe can be made by absolutely anyone. It looks like something you would get in a restaurant and takes very little effort to construct.



Prawn Cocktail


Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 5 servings

Ingredients
25g cooked prawns
Iceburg lettuce
400g seafood highlighter
Whole egg mayonaise to mix
2-3 sticks of celery
Lemon wedges
Pepper & salt to season

Method
Peel and de vein the prawns.
Leave the tails for decoration.
To make the seafood salad cut the seafood highlighter and celery into small pieces.
Combine the celery and seafood highlighter with the mayonaise.
Arrange the seafood in a cocktail glass by filling the bottom of the glass with shredded lettuce and layering the prawns and seafood salad on top.
Season with cracked pepper and salt and garnish with a lemon wedge.
