Toffee, Almond & Banana Oat Bars

These amazing little bars are great for a pick me up in the afternoon or a quick breakfast. They are full of protein, only 111 cal per serve and have no nasty additives.

Taste Like a Caramel Pie.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 20 small bars

My favourite things.

2 cups rolled oats
1 cup raw almonds
3/4 cup English toffee (or choc chips)
2 bananas
2 tbsp crunchy peanut better (or Walnut butter
1 tbsp honey
2 free range eggs

Preheat oven to 180C.

Chopped Almonds

Roughly chop the almonds and toffee and put them in a large bowl.

Mash the bananas and add to the bowl.

Stir in the peanut butter, honey and 2 eggs.

Lastly mix in the oats.

Grease an oven tray and spread out the mixture evenly.

Ready to Bake

Drizzle with a teaspoon of honey and bake for 20 minutes.

Golden Brown.

Cut into slices while the bars are still hot but leave them in the tray.

Cut into Small Squares.

Cut small squares for a quick pick me up or to go with coffee. Cut larger strips for breakfast.
