Holy moly these are amazing, this is the first time I made them so they are a bit messy but of so delicious. I was inspired after eating at a raw cafe and wanted to get into making raw desserts. This snickers slice
is clean, raw, paleo and a healthy treat!
They make a great gift!
: 30 minutes
Fridge Time: 30 minutes
: 12 servings
2/3 c raw unsalted peanuts
1 tbsp cocoa
2 tbsp shredded coconut
16 pitted dates
2 tsp coconut oil
The most delicious ingredients.
1/3 c kraft smooth peanut butter
1/3 cup natural peanut butter
1/3 cup raw unsalted peanuts
Peanuts three ways.
150g dark chocolate
Dates and peanuts soaking. This makes it easier to blend.
You may need to stop and push down the sides.
Base! Press down firmly and evenly.
Peanut over load.
Thin layer of dark chocolate.
Healthy snickers slice.
Note: You can use any nut butter (such as walnut
) and nuts in this, I went with peanuts so its like a snickers bar. It is also not necessary to have different sorts of nut butter. I prefer natural peanut butter but the Kraft gives it a nice salty flavour.
